Roslyn Royal Singleton passed away on Tuesday at the age of 39, her husband Ray confirmed on Instagram.
He says the Navy veteran died “peacefully sleeping right at home right where she wanted to be” and has earned her “wings.”
The North Carolina beauty battled brain cancer for the second time and often shared her journey on social media. She was first diagnosed in 2013 and then went into remission for six years before a new tumor was found in 2019.
The artist was best known for appearing on America’s Got Talent to support her singer husband and she also popped up on the talk show Ellen where she was paid $25,000.

He shared an Instagram post for his late wife.
‘WELL DONE!! Our woman earned her wings yesterday as she slept peacefully, right at home where she wanted to be,” he wrote.
“This road ahead is going to be INCREDIBLY long and difficult! She taught us all SOMETHING… She is where we all try to get to one day, so we don’t have to be sad! Now we celebrate her legacy, her impact, her story & HER SPIRIT!’
He then added, “She’ll LIVE FOREVER!!”

Singleton was first diagnosed with an aggressive brain cancer in 2013.
The star was clear of the disease by the time the couple met in 2016 and they married in 2018.
Tragically, in October 2019, Singleton received her second diagnosis.
But Singleton said in 2020 that her husband is “doing well.”

Singleton had been in the Navy and worked as an executive administrative assistant in Afghanistan.
She started to feel bad when her mother died and her father was diagnosed with cancer.
Roslyn got a headache and heard the sea crashing.
“At first I thought it was stress,” Roslyn recalls. But the pain did not go away and she began to see dots.
“I lay down to sleep and… you know how you hold a seashell to your ear and you can hear the ocean?” she said. “I could hear the ocean when I lay down.”
She went to another doctor and learned she had brain cancer, which led to several surgeries and treatments, but her cancer went to the stage 4 glioblastoma (GBM).
She also spoke about her faith. “I believe that God is really great and has been really great in my life, and I know He’s in control of everything,” Roslyn said.

In 2020, her husband made headlines when he sang beautifully to soothe his wife.
Ray found the tear-jerking way to comfort wife Roslyn after her second diagnosis.
The adorable video – first shared on Instagram – came about as a way for Singleton to calm his fears and keep busy while his wife underwent her second brain surgery.
Speaking on WSOCTV.com, Singleton said, “For me, cancer is a blessing because it’s my way of telling people that whatever it is, it’s going to be okay.”
The clip quickly went viral, gaining over 17 million views and even catching the attention of Grammy-nominated singer Daniel Caesar.
In the clip, Mr. Singleton plays the piano and sings Caesar’s song Get You.
His wife beamed as he sang, “Every time I look into your eyes, I see it. You’re all I Need. Every time I go in a little bit, I feel it.’
He stroked Singleton’s face with his own as he sang, “Ooh, who’d have thought I’d get you.” Ooh, who would’ve thought I’d catch you.’
Speaking on WSOCTV.com, Singleton said, “For me, cancer is a blessing because it’s my way of telling people that whatever it is, it’s going to be okay.”
Mr Singleton added: ‘I have told my pastor and God in front of many people, ‘I am with her through sickness and health, and this is just part of that.’
