MORTON GROVE, Illinois (TBEN) – A car drove into a Culver restaurant in Morton Grove late Monday afternoon.
Shortly after 4 p.m., TBEN 2’s Kris Habermehl reported that the car had deviated 90 degrees from its route on westbound Dempster Street and turned into the Culver’s, located at 7310 W. Dempster St.

The car crossed the parkway and the drive-through lane and crashed into the seating area. It hit the bay window – on the other side where a family of four sat.
The members of the family were all treated for minor injuries.
It was not clear what had happened to the driver: a malfunction, a medical problem or an operator error.
