A driver has been charged after fleeing the scene of a hit-and-run crash on the sixth Road Viaduct Monday evening, in response to the Los Angeles Police Division.
The driving force, who has not been recognized, was “conducting burnouts” on the brand new bridge at about 10:20 p.m. when he “misplaced management and collided with a 2021 Nissan Sentra and a 2022 Honda Civic,” police stated in a information launch.
He left the bridge and deserted his automobile, which was impounded for 30 days for exhibition of pace, police stated, although on Tuesday afternoon, he turned himself in to police.
The Los Angeles Metropolis Lawyer’s Workplace selected Wednesday to cost the driving force with “Exhibition of Velocity, Hit and Run Misdemeanor, Reckless Driving, and Mendacity to Police Officers,” the discharge stated.
