This Australian side is believed to give a glimpse of the 2001 championship side. The Pat Cummins led will have to be ruthless as giving a chance to India would be quite risky. All eyes would be on off spinner Nathan Lyon as once again Aussies have no quality spinner after him.

Ravindra Jadeja on Comeback

Ravindra Jadeja interacted with BCCI.tv and was asked about the comeback. “I am very excited and happy to wear the Indian jersey again after almost more than 5 months. I am blessed to have another chance and the journey to get here has been full of ups and downs. Because when you don’t play cricket for 5 months it becomes very frustrating and of course I was eagerly waiting to get fit as soon as possible so that I can start playing for India. said Ravindra Jadeja.

Ravindra Jadeja on injury phase

Ravindra Jadeja revealed his injury spell. “I had a problem with my knee and had to have surgery sooner or later. But I had to make the decision whether to have it before the World Cup or after. So the doctor also advised me to do it before the World Cup, because even if I didn’t do the surgery, the chances of me playing the World Cup were already a lot smaller. So I made a decision and went for the surgery.” said Ravindra Jadeja.

“But the period after that was quite difficult because you have to continuously rehabilitate and train. You had thoughts in your mind about your condition. When you watched the games on TV, like watching the World Cup, I wished I was there. These little things motivate you to speed up the recovery process.” he added.
