Indian Cricket Team sealed the ODI Series after a stunning win against New Zealand in the 2nd ODI. The Men in Blue were quite ruthless in all 3 divisions of the game. Mohammed Shami caused chaos by picking up 3 wickets in his 6 overs spell and giving away 18 runs.

New Zealand would be utterly disappointed with their performance as they had no intention. Skipper Tom Latham was unable to lead the team from the front and it appeared he was not ready for the steep challenge as in Kane Williamson’s absence the responsibility lay with him.

Mohammed Shami was in contact with the media and was asked about Jasprit Bumrah. “The absence of good players is always felt. But when a player gets injured, the game doesn’t stop. We do miss him, because he’s a good bowler. We hope he returns soon, so that the team becomes even stronger. New Zealand should rethink their batting approach as you are unable to make the power play overs count which hurts the team. We should not forget that the Indian pacers bowled quite wicket to wicket where they squeezed the batters for space.

India on the other hand would grow confidently as not many people would have thought that India would win the series outright. Management would be quite pleased if Shardul Thakur was frugal as the speedster took 1 wicket and gave away 26 runs in his 6 overs.
