Axar Patel had a memorable T20I series where the all-rounder crossed the line a massive 20th in the 1st T20I match and nearly took India across the finish line in the 2nd T20I with his lively stroke play. It would not be wrong to say that Axar has now cemented its place in the team.

Didn’t do anything else for this series, just that the captain gave me a lot of confidence in the dugout.” said Axar Patel
