The Jets could potentially trade for Las Vegas Raiders QB Derek Karr. Here’s the latest buzz…

The Raiders reportedly granted Derek Karr permission to speak to other teams interested in acting for him, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The interested team must also agree to compensate the Raiders. This is the same arrangement that the Houston Texans offered quarterback Deshaun Watson when they looked to buy him off-season last season.

A new report suggests the Jets are looking for an experienced quarterback to star in the Raiders’ Derek Karrpackers Aaron Rogers among others according to Jonathan Jones of TBEN Sports and NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
“While the Jets will certainly take a long look at a potential trade for Rodgers, he’s not the only veteran quarterback the team is evaluating,” Jones wrote for TBEN Sports on Sunday. According to sources, the Jets will be watching Rodgers (San Francisco 49ers quarterback) closely. Jimmy Garoppolo and Derek Carr. They won’t limit their search to just those three quarterbacks – and sources emphasize it’s still early in the process – but that’s where the focus will start.”

Derek Karr is expected to get a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders sooner rather than later.
While speaking on ESPNs Countdown to the NFL after the season, Adam Schefter said Carr is expected to trade sometime this offseason.
“The entire NFC South is expected to be in the market for a new quarterback,” Schefter said. “The Jets, the Commanders, the Colts, the Texans. There are so many teams that need quarterbacks, which adds to Carr’s value.”
