Law & Order: SVU stars Ice-T and Christopher Meloni on Monday refuted a rumor split between them.
Ice-T, 64, took to Twitter on Monday and on Monday posted an email he received from The National Enquirer asking for comment on a story that claimed they had been “feuding since ‘Meloni’s’ return to the franchise” in 2021 in the Law & Order: Organized Crime series.
The email said that “sources have told The ENQUIRER that the former rapper has become jealous of the attention Mr. Meloni has received since his return.”

Ice-T denied any issues with Meloni, 61, saying he forwarded the email to his old colleague from the Dick Wolf franchise.
“Just sent this email to my husband @Chris_Meloni,” said Ice-T. “Clownass MFs try to make up Drama out of thin air… WOW… MFs are really into that BS.”
Meloni shared an image of the email, writing: “So… [Ice-T] was sent this. He was kind enough to let me know we had a fight.’
Ice-T added to Meloni’s comment, “LOL… Clownass MFs.. Chris is my MF man!” F’em They just make up BS. Crazy.’

The veteran actors described the sequence of events on social media with added commentary
Ice-T has played Detective Odafin ‘Fin’ Tutuola since 2000 and has acted alongside Meloni for 11 seasons.
After leaving the franchise after its 12th season in 2010, Meloni reprized the role of Detective Elliot Stabler in 2021 in Law & Order: Organized Crime, which has had crossover storylines with Law & Order: SVU.
Other longtime characters in the main cast of the NBC series include Mariska Hargitay as Detective Olivia Benson (1999-2023), Dann Florek as Captain Don Cragen (1999-2021); and Richard Belzer as Detective John Munch (1999-2016).

The stars were captured last fall with Universal Studio Group President Pearlena Igbokwe at an event in NYC

Ice-T discussed his longtime friendship with Meloni in a 2021 appearance on The View ahead of his return to the franchise.
He noted that they kept in touch with Meloni “all the time” he was away from the series “because we’re friends in real life.”
He added: “To get him to come back and see what’s going to happen with him and Mariska, everybody’s just waiting for that moment, but it’s okay, he’s a friend, I worked with him for 12 years, we became good friends.’
