
The NYPD gives a suspected slasher his close-up.
Police released a photo around 5:15 p.m. Saturday of the person wanted for the shooting of a 34-year-old man at 48 Deli’s on West 48th Street near Sixth Avenue.
The victim was cut face down into the block of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree, authorities said.
The attack was sparked by an argument between the two men.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, police said.
The suspect was described as 25 to 35 years old, 5 feet 10 inches and 175 pounds, police said. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, multicolored sweatshirt, blue jeans and multicolored sneakers.
