Riverdale star Camila Mendes showed off her impressively toned abs while wearing a black turtleneck crop top on her way to a photoshoot in Los Angeles on Monday.
The Virginia-born, Florida-raised 28-year-old — who recently lamented the “fleeting” nature of fame — completed her casual attire with a black leather jacket, baggy jeans and Prada loafers.
Camila was on break from filming the seventh and final season of The CW series, in which she plays the wealthy Veronica Lodge.

Last Wednesday, Mendes shared a preview of the slideshow from Riverdale’s Vancouver set, which, like the original Archie Comics, is set in the 1950s.
“Occasionally it strikes me that this crazy journey I’ve been on for the last seven years ends in June, which also happens to be the month I turn 29,” says the Brazilian-American beauty – who has 34.2 million social media followers – wrote on TikTok last Saturday.
“I actually spent my whole twenties on Riverdale. I don’t know what adulthood is like without this show as an anchor. I imagine it feels like people come out of long-term relationships and have completely forgotten how to go through life as individuals. Is she having an identity crisis? It is likely!’
Creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa’s teen drama currently holds an 81% overall critics approval rating and a 51% viewership rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

‘I’m not busy because I don’t like doing nothing; I keep myself busy because I’m worried about my career,” Camila confessed in her PORTER cover story last month.
“I’ve always been in that state of mind. I understand that this industry is so fickle. Fame is fleeting. You can be successful, but you’re only as good as your last thing.’
On a personal level, Mendes has been in a relationship with her Música director castmate Rudy Mancuso, and she serves as an executive producer on his feature film debut for Amazon Studios.
