The Test Cricket Carnival has begun and fans have witnessed some scintillating action. The next 2-3 months are going to be fascinating as the race for the ICC World Test Championship (WTC 2021-23) gets intense. This time World Cricket will witness a new World Test Champion as New Zealand is out of the race.

Australia currently tops the table and will most likely qualify for the Final as they have a percentile of 72.73. India would be a bit happier as they are going to play 2 test matches against Bangladesh in December, that series would be a lot easier compared to Australia.

IPL 2023 Final & WTC Final

ODI’s Australian tour is expected to end on March 22 as Australia will play 4 Test matches and 3 ODIs from February. The 2023 Border Gavaskar Trophy would ultimately decide the fate of both teams. The dates for the IPL have yet to be determined; but it is believed that IPL would start on March 31st and with 74 matches remaining, the final could be played between May 28th and June 4th.

If India qualifies for the WTC final, the players will most likely be exhausted as the WTC final will be held on June 7. In the 2023 edition, the BCCI will introduce home and away venues where BCCI needs to raise double headers as the board has a tough job.
